AI Empowers Display, Reshaping the Value Logic of the Industry
At the conference opening, Wang Cheng, Chief Operating Officer of TCL Technology Group, delivered a keynote speech. He stated, 'The deep integration of AI and display technology is fundamentally reshaping the industry's value proposition. 'By establishing an' AI Five-Star Architecture,' TCL CSOT drives comprehensive innovation across manufacturing, R&D, and operations through intelligent engines, transforming cutting-edge technologies into versatile display solutions for diverse applications.
This year, TCL CSOT unveiled its Star Intelligence X-Intelligence 3.0, a cutting-edge large-scale model specializing in high-level reasoning for display applications, delivering AI-powered solutions across diverse scenarios for the display industry.
Zhao Jun, CEO of TCL Huaxing, stated: "Through AI for Display, we have reinvented ourselves; through Display for AI, we have illuminated the world." He further elaborated that AI technology not only boosts production efficiency but also enhances the interactivity and intelligence of display products, paving the way for future advancements in display technology.
OLED Breakthrough in Small Size Printing, Technology Drives Innovation
At the DTC2025 conference, TCL CSOT showcased multiple display solutions, with the Real Stripe RGB OLED smartphone display (5.65-inch) standing out as the highlight. The screen employs high-precision OLED printing technology, achieving a breakthrough resolution of 390PPI and a visual equivalent diamond pattern of 490PPI, delivering a more refined visual experience to users.
Zhao Jun also elaborated on the advantages and challenges of printed OLED technology at the event. He emphasized that this technology not only delivers superior image quality but also achieves breakthroughs in cost efficiency and production performance.
After 12 years of sustained investment and relentless R&D efforts, TCL CSOT has established a leading position in key technologies for printed OLED," Zhao Jun stated. The company will continue to optimize its material systems, reduce power consumption, improve yield rates, and drive the full commercialization of printed OLED technology.
Addressing the key challenges in mass-producing printed OLEDs, Zhao Jun revealed that TCL CSOT has identified concrete solutions. 'We've largely resolved or formulated clear solutions for issues like pixel per inch (PPI), lifespan, power consumption, and yield rates,' he stated. With the transition to new material systems and process optimization, the prospects for mass production of printed OLEDs are highly promising.

Focus on visual health, publish Visual Health White Paper 2.0
At the DTC2025 conference, TCL CSOT, in collaboration with the National Eye Care Center and key partners including Lenovo, TAL Education Group, and CVTE, officially launched the Visual Health White Paper 2.0.
This white paper comprehensively presents the research achievements of natural light display technology. By simulating six core characteristics including wide spectrum, non-polarization, continuity, diffuse reflection, rhythm, and spatiality, the display's optical properties closely approximate natural light, effectively alleviating visual fatigue caused by prolonged screen use.
Wei Chen, Executive President of TAL Education Group, shared the collaborative research achievements with TCL CSOT: "A high-quality screen for children is the guardian of their health and focus." The jointly developed educational eye-care solution features innovative solutions including "one-screen-three-mode" technology, triple-layer diffused light reflection, and 7:5 golden ratio educational screens, all designed to create superior learning environments.
Ecological Layout and Future Outlook under Macro Competition
Amid fierce global competition in the display industry, Zhao Jun stated that TCL CSOT is building an open, self-reliant, and collaborative industrial ecosystem. Through close partnerships with upstream suppliers, downstream clients, research institutions, and industry associations, the company is jointly driving innovation and advancement in display technology.
Regarding the future development trends of display technology, Zhao Jun believes that various OLED technologies will undergo integration and expansion, with printed OLED expected to expand from medium to small sizes. He revealed that TCL CSOT has already conducted relevant technological development in the mobile display field and will, in the future, combine market demand and customer feedback to openly evaluate the feasibility of printed OLED applications in mobile phones.
